Are you motivated by the prospect of deepening insight and promoting sustainable growth for key life KPIs? In this role within Group Actuarial you'll help shape the future of actuarial reporting and analytics by supporting the design and implementation of future-state processes and capabilities across the Group. Through a blend of actuarial expertise, process innovation, requirements definition, and stakeholder coordination, you'll contribute to the delivery of standardised, efficient, and scalable solutions. By working collaboratively across functions, you'll help enhance reporting insights, strengthen analytical capabilities, and support better decision-making for the business.
What you will do
- Drive the future of Life reporting and analytics across the Group by reviewing current approaches and identifying opportunities for simplification, standardisation and greater efficiency.
- Partner with colleagues across Business Units, Group Actuarial and Group Risk Management to define the target operating model and future-state processes, helping to deliver solutions built on more consistent and granular data.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions, developing documentation, governance frameworks and implementation specifications that support successful delivery.
- Drive stakeholder engagement throughout the transformation journey, coordinating testing, transition and adoption activities to embed new capabilities and ways of working across actuarial, risk and finance teams.
- Help unlock the value of data by defining and supporting the development of enhanced analytical capabilities, enabling deeper insights, more effective sensitivity analysis and improved self-service reporting for stakeholders across the Group.
What you bring
- Experienced qualified actuary with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience as a Life actuary, with a substantial portion spent working in actuarial reserving, reporting or modelling.
- Strong ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, including across different geographies, and to build working relationships while also managing to see topics through to a final conclusion.
- Proven experience transforming business processes into business and technical requirements with a clear vision of integration into the IT systems landscape.
- Experience and skillset in data analytics, data management and data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with modern data and analytics platforms such as Databricks and cloud-based data environments would be a big advantage.
