As a Casualty Pricing Actuary within our newly established International division at Zurich, you’ll play a pivotal role in elevating our pricing and underwriting performance sophistication across a $3bn+ portfolio. What you will do

As Pricing Actuary - Casualty, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the management of all International Casualty pricing tools in Commercial Insurance’s newly established International division. This involves pricing model development and regular parameterization.
• Supporting the International Head of Casualty Underwriting to better understand the underwriting performance of the portfolio, unlocking cross-country insights, trends & leading indicators to drive profitable growth.
• Supporting International BUs with large account pricing referrals as well as sharing insights on global trends with them.

What you bring

• Qualified / nearly-qualified actuary with membership in an internationally recognized actuarial association (e.g., IFoA, SOA, DAV, SAA)
• 5+ years of experience in a related field, ideally in Commercial Insurance
• Advanced problem-solving skills, decision-making and judgment skills with the ability to find practical solutions to complex problems, showing adaptability and taking personal ownership of delivery
• Advanced data literacy, analytics and visualization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English, both oral and written
