We’re looking for a driven, versatile, and creative Communications Manager Technology and Business Operations for Zurich Insurance Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and deliver communications that bring to life the story of our tech innovation, global ventures and digital transformation. Alongside supporting strategic initiatives, you will manage the day-to-day communications that support core business needs.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

What you’ll do

  • Create and deliver integrated communication plans that support Zurich’s tech innovation, AI, operations, and global businesses strategy.
  • Turn business priorities into clear, engaging messages and campaigns to drive engagement across all our employees, stakeholders, and markets.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure communications are aligned, impactful, and relevant.
  • Support transformation and change communications, helping employees understand, embrace, and engage with strategic shifts.
  • Partner with media relations, thought leadership, and social media teams to amplify Zurich’s voice  — especially in the digital and AI space.
  • Use data to measure communications effectiveness and continuously improve.

 

What you bring

  • At least 5+ years of experience in corporate communications roles, preferably in support of leading technology, operations, innovation or transformation function.
  • Strong storytelling skills with a digital-first mindset.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and create meaningful messages that support our business strategy.
  • Resilience under pressure and comfort working in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach—you see the big picture, and you’re ready to roll up your sleeves.
  • Expertise in digital tools and channels (internal and external social media, innovative formats).
  • Organized and structured, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, agile setting.
  • Native-level English with excellent writing and editing skills; German is a plus.
