Data Analyst/ Data Engineer Commercial Insurance Analytics 80%-100%

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our global Commercial Insurance team.


What you will do

 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business performance.
  • Develop clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements based on your analysis.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across various sources and processes.

 

What you bring

 

  • Professional experience working with data— exposure to data engineering concepts.
  • Proficient using SQL for querying and data manipulation, good understanding of query optimization and indexing, whether in RDBMS or big data environments.
  • Experience with cloud-based technology and solution design: e.g., experience with Microsoft Azure Products, Databricks.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, Scala or R.
  • Hands-on experience across different stages of the data lifecycle—from data gathering and cleaning to visualization and reporting.
  • Interest or experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques, particularly in natural language processing or text analytics.
  • Previous experience in insurance is an advantage.
  • A can-do attitude, focused on delivering valuable, user-friendly solutions tailored to specific business challenges.
  • Eagerness to solve real business problems, with the persistence to see your recommendations through to implementation.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.
