Head of Digital Propositions - Zurich Global Ventures 80-100%
Zurich Global Ventures (ZGV) is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive its portfolio of retail-focused Digital Propositions across its businesses, including Life Protection, Employee Benefits, Travel and Cyber. This role will be responsible for defining a cohesive strategy for digital assets and applications, ensuring commercial relevance, innovative product roadmaps, and a seamless and integrated customer experience within and across ZGV’s digital assets, and various digital assets more broadly across Zurich. In addition to ZGV’s existing distribution, this role will also be responsible for identifying new commercial proposition opportunities which utilises the breath of ZGV’s digital capabilities and customer data.
The Head of Digital Propositions role will work within a matrixed and highly global management structure, with accountability for digital proposition strategy, working together with ZGV’s Business Unit CEOs and respective digital, product and customer teams to execute. The role will be supported by a core team specializing in product, digital technology, and UX/UI to support and accelerate the implementation of ZGV’s digital assets for customers, key distribution partners, and Zurich Business Units.
What you will do
Digital Strategy
- Develop a unified strategy for ZGV’s digital assets, optimising for customer experience, and increasing engagement touchpoints.
- Use customer insights and data to inform and refine ZGV’s digital propositions and develop and implement initiatives to improve customer engagement, app functionality, and user experience & satisfaction.
- Ensure ZGV digital assets operate in a cohesive digital ecosystem, integrating various digital assets and platforms across ZGV.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure ZGV’s digital proposition remains competitive.
Proposition & Business Development
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure digital propositions fully support business ambitions and required revenue growth outcomes, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and financial planning objectives.
- Identify to white-space opportunities for ZGV which leverage and build on existing digital and business capabilities to create new retail-focussed propositions which generate enhanced customer engagement and contribute to material commercial outcomes.
- Drive business development opportunities with key distribution partners and Zurich Business Units.
Digital Asset Ownership & Execution
- Provide steerage to ZGV’s portfolio of digital assets, ensuring strategic alignment, clear roadmap articulation, and that assets are organized, accessible and utilized effectively.
- Work with Business Unit leaders to agree objectives, resource & capability plans, and financial planning targets.
- Develop and maintain a scalable and integrated digital architecture, reducing fragmentation and improving customer interactions across multiple digital applications.
- Work closely with ZGV and broader Zurich technology teams to enhance data integration and interoperability across platforms.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with internal teams, including product, technology, marketing, and data analytics, to drive a customer-first digital strategy.
- Engage with external partners and vendors to explore innovative digital solutions that enhance customer experience.
- Act as a thought leader in digital transformation, driving a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.
What you bring
- Proven experience in leading customer experience, digital strategy, or digital transformation in a multi-business environment.
- Strong expertise in digital product management, app strategy, and business development.
- Ability to navigate complex digital ecosystems, integrating multiple platforms for a seamless customer experience.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in a customer-focused environment, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive growth through customer experience enhancements and technology
- Excellent strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrates ability to understand customer needs and adept at identifying and capitalizing on trends.
