Junior Compliance Data Analytics, Automation and Power BI Specialist 80-100%, temporary for 11 mnths

Do you enjoy turning complex compliance challenges into reliable, user-friendly data and automation solutions? In this temporary role within Group Compliance, you will take end-to-end ownership of key analytics and reporting solutions, including the Compliance Risk Universe Monitor, Compliance e-Reporting and the wider Power BI dashboard portfolio. Combining forward-thinking technology with reliable governance and a results-oriented approach, you will work closely with compliance, technology and security stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions that strengthen insight, efficiency and decision-making. 

What you will do 

• Take end-to-end management of the Compliance Risk Universe Monitor, Compliance e-Reporting solution projects and wider Group Compliance Power BI dashboard portfolio, from project management and requirements and methodology through development, approval, production and ongoing support. 
• Design, enhance and maintain scalable Power BI solutions, data models, measures and visualisations that bring together GRC data, compliance risks, controls, assurance, audit and regulatory information into clear and reproducible insights. 
• Build secure data and reporting automation using Python, SQL, APIs, approved GenAI services and Office-document templates, with robust validation, traceability, logging and human review. 
• Manage development, testing, release and production processes, including access, refreshes, performance, documentation, run books and issue resolution in collaboration with Technology, Security and data owners. 
• Partner with Compliance subject-matter experts and senior stakeholders to define Compliance Risk Indicators, requirements, thresholds and governance, coordinate delivery and maintain an auditable record of decisions. 

What you bring 

• Advanced hands-on experience developing complex Power BI solutions, including Power Query, DAX, dimensional data modelling, semantic models, workspaces, refreshes and development-to-production lifecycles. 
• Strong practical experience with Python, SQL, enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, REST APIs and secure application authentication, including service principals, MSAL or OAuth2. 
• Demonstrated daily proficiency with Claude Code or a comparable agent-assisted development environment, with the judgement to verify outputs and keep sensitive decisions, calculations and production controls under direct human oversight. 
• Experience translating compliance, risk or assurance requirements into data definitions, KPIs or KRIs, analytical logic and sustainable technical solutions. 
• Proven ability to manage an analytical product through design, UAT, rollout and BAU, supported by strong stakeholder management, facilitation, documentation and communication skills.
