Risk Specialist - Group Risk Management 80-100%

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework as well as overseeing the process and drafting of Group-wide internal governance policies, guidance, and related processes. This includes the promotion of a risk awareness culture by linking strategy, day-to-day execution, and reward system to risk, to support decision-making processes across the Group. 

What you will do

• Support the design, implementation and maintenance of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and processes in accordance with Group Risk Management Strategic Priorities 
• Contribute to cross-functional and company-wide improvement initiatives in the risk management and governance space including global communications and training
• Support and monitor the preparation and publication of risk related Group governance documentation including Group policies in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
• Foster awareness and provide training to increase effectiveness of risk management and governance processes across the Group

What you will bring

• Degree in law, business, finance, or related subjects 
• At least 5 years of risk management related experience specifically with respect to the design and implementation of risk appetite, risk assessments, risk responses and internal controls, risk monitoring and reporting activities
• Good understanding of regulatory environments, risk management and control frameworks 
• Experience with drafting and publishing official and public documents 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Fluent spoken and written editorial English skills    
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with diverse cultures collaboratively  
• Persistent, resilient, and seeking self-development
