Senior Capital and Risk Analyst (80-100%)

As a Senior Capital & Risk Analyst, you will help ensure that our Solvency II Standard Formula Capital Model meets regulatory requirements, supports sound solvency monitoring and risk-based decision-making. In project activities, you will have the opportunity to drive improvements across our internal capital models and processes, take ownership of critical deliverables, and grow your expertise in a highly visible, Group-wide function.
You will be a team member of quantitative analysts located in Zurich and Bratislava and will work in close collaboration with our EU legal entities and our in-house IT development team.
What you will do
- Ownership and lead of Solvency II standard formula methodology and implementation for Zurich including relevant reporting.
- Act as subject matter expert to Zurich EU legal entities on the application of Solvency II standard formula calculations and regulatory submissions.
- Monitoring of regulatory developments related to Solvency II standard formula methodology.
- Ensure robust BAU operations for EU legal entities, together with Bratislava based Production- and Development Team.
- Support projects and initiatives that enable continuous enhancements to Zurich’s internal capital model processes and its results.
What you bring
- Strong analytical background (University degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Finance, actuarial field or similar).
- 3+ years of professional experience in insurance or related field.
- Prior experience and knowledge in Solvency II and EIOPA regulation.
- Good understanding of the financial and insurance capital and risk models.
- English fluent in written and spoken.
