Senior Finance Operations Business Analyst 80-100%

In this role within Group Finance Transformation & Operations, you will focus on financial and regulatory reporting with SAP. Your tasks will include operational duties, supporting projects, implementing consolidation and master data changes, and advising Finance stakeholders at the Group level.

 

What you will do

 

  • Act as subject matter expert in the area of group consolidation on behalf of Transformation & Operations 
  • Provide business support to local key users and central business teams, i.e. for technical business and process related questions
  • Represent T & O in projects related to the applications as managed by our team; provide input to associated projects as needed, perform business analysis and solution design tasks including stakeholder management, solution documentation etc.
  • Support projects based on subject matter expertise
  • Manage liaison with IT technical support and development teams as interface between IT and business end users
  • Ensure audit proof handover of the solution into BAU
  • Involvement in knowledge management, documentation and training
  • Providing and brokering support services to multiple customer groups

 

What you bring

 

  • University degree in business administration or business informatics
  • At least 5 years work experience in an international accounting environment, preferably in the insurance or consulting industry with sound financial accounting background
  • Credible knowledge in one or more areas of expertise: SAP SEM BCS, SAP S/4 Group Reporting, SAP BW/BI, SAP ECCS, or any other SAP or non-SAP group accounting, consolidation or planning tool
  • Strong knowledge of group consolidation and reporting processes, with a particular focus on regulatory reporting
  • Very good communication and presentation skills, fluent in English, German would be a strong asset
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, service and result oriented, able to work well under pressure
  • Innovation focused, willingness to develop skills as well as scope of responsibility
  • Knowledge of business analysis activities, tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of business and application control frameworks for audit purposes
  • Flexible in working style and hours (especially around quarterly closes)
