Does the thought of shaping how a global insurer strategically deploys and protects its liquidity while driving performance and resilience motivate you? As a Senior Liquidity Manager, you will lead and execute strategically important initiatives across Group liquidity, spanning liquidity investments, liquidity risk management, and regulatory reporting – positioning you at the core of how the organization steers its financial strength.

In this role, you will enhance returns while ensuring a robust liquidity risk framework in close collaboration with key stakeholders. You will refine investment and reporting frameworks, contribute to liquidity strategy, support regulatory engagement, and drive improvements in forecasting and stress testing. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will influence cross-functional initiatives and strengthen how liquidity is managed across the Group.

What you will do

  • Drive initiatives to enhance returns on Group liquidity, working closely with Zurich Treasury Services and Investment Management on execution and investment frameworks.
  • Support the review and continuous improvement of the Group liquidity strategy, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Group Risk Management.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality reporting on liquidity returns, while contributing to forecasting enhancements, cash flow monitoring, and stress testing.
  • Coordinate updates to Zurich Risk Policy (Liquidity Risk) and support FINMA reporting, including responding to regulatory inquiries.
  • Deliver liquidity and capital management initiatives and act as a subject matter expert, supporting cross-functional projects across the organization.

What you bring

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in liquidity management within insurance or banking sector.
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline.
  • CFA/CPA is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in liquidity investment products, structures, and hedging strategies, combined with a solid understanding of financial markets.
  • Sound understanding of insurance business models and their implications for liquidity management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence decision-making and drive impactful outcomes in a dynamic environment; hands-on mindset and advanced proficiency in MS Office; fluent in English.
