Social Media Content - Senior Manager, Group Customer Office, 80%-100%


Zurich is continuing the drive to embed the customer at it’s core and is now searching for a new superstar to join our success story. 


The social media content senior manager is responsible for the content strategy and development of activity on core social media channels with the aim of driving engagement, building an audience, increasing reach, and ultimately awareness of the Zurich Insurance brand and it’s services. The candidate will help the brand to reach its objectives and provide insights and analysis to improve impact and effectiveness, whilst bringing an innovative lens to our communications. 


What you will do


  • Develop and maintain the social media content strategy

  • Develop an ongoing editorial process and calendar to leverage and promote the brand

  • Establish and manage content creation process, working with counterparts across global and local teams

  • Work with creative agency to bring content and activations to life (brand campaigns, always on)

  • Work with platform partners to bring education and newness

  • Partner with internal teams to align on key brand stories and how to position on social

  • Consult on all social media activations across key channels – Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc. 

  • Explore new opportunities on emerging platforms and format developments

  • Work with insights and analytics to influence strategy

  • Ensure brand proposition, tone, look and feel is consistent across all content

  • Stay up-to-date with all current trends, platform updates and keeping an eye on the cultural zeitgeist


What you will bring 


  • A minimum of 6-8 years proven social media experience, developing best-in-class experiences and ideas for brands

  • Digital Marketing background preferred

  • Active social media user with a strong grasp of the moving landscape and culture

  • Bridging the creative and strategic thinking

  • Bachelor’s Degree with marketing related field

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal 

  • An eye for detail and quality 

  • Instinctive knowledge of brand building via social media channels

  • Results-driven and the ability to demonstrate and articulate impact and value of work delivered

  • Proactive, team player
