Working Student - ALM & Pension junior quantitative analyst 60%-80%, 12 Months

Join us as a Working student in the Group ALM and SAA team with a focus on Group’s pensions and become part of our new generation of talent at Zurich.

 

 

What you will do

 

  • Review and analyse ALM and Investment strategies
  • Analyse and validate pension data for accuracy and consistency.
  • Support financial modelling and quantitative assessments for committee decisions.
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas and coordinating materials and presentations.
  • Help with research and administrative tasks related to pension governance.
  • Implement and maintain a Dashboard for Pensions in Power BI.

 

What you bring

 

  • Enrolled in a university program, ideally doing your Master in economics, finance, actuarial studies or related field.
  • Good understanding of financial theory, its applications and the roles of the key players in financial markets.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; comfortable working with numbers.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and good communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Power BI, data visualization and coding (python, R, etc) is a plus.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential, German would be an advantage, as well as any other language.
  • You must be located in Switzerland for the whole duration of the contract.
