Working Student Group Finance 40%-50%, 12 months duration

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our finance team with the financial management of both the Quai Zurich Campus and the Zurich Development Center.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with the purchase order process, invoices, and help ensure all cost centre transactions are accurate and up to date. You’ll also join finance review meetings with cost centre leaders and project managers, giving you valuable exposure to how financial decisions are made. Additionally, you’ll support our forecasting and planning activities, helping us build a brighter financial future together. 

 

What you will do:

 

Purchase Order Process:

  • Support cost centre leaders / project managers in placing purchase orders in Coupa.
  • Ensure compliance with regards to the defined purchase order process.
  • Maintain the purchase order overview.

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable:

  • Process invoices and internal allocations.
  • Respond to customer and vendor enquiries.

Cost Centre Management:

  • First point of contact for cost center leaders and project managers.
  • Ensure correctness of all transaction related to assigned cost centers (bookings, accruals, forecasts etc.).
  • Participate in finance review meetings with cost center leaders / project managers.
  • Maintain and develop the cost center planning and forecasting files.

 

What you bring

 

  • Enrolment at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience (excel and power point)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Ability to understand complex data and willingness to grow and deliver high quality results in time
