Working Student Group Invest. Mgmt. (40%-60%) 12 months

Now is the time to move forward and make a difference. As a working student within Group Investment Management, you will have the role of an investment analyst and support Pensions Investment Management in the analysis and implementation of investment strategies for Zurich’s pension plans globally.
You will be introduced to a broad spectrum of topics while working on several priorities in close collaboration with many team members in a truly international environment.
What you will do
- Support financial modelling of investment proposals
- Ongoing monitoring of asset data completeness and quality
- Conduct analysis covering all major asset classes
- Prepare and update investment reports and presentations
- Support the team on various projects
What you bring
- Currently in a Bachelor’s or Master’s study, ideally in finance or economics
- A passion for financial markets and investments
- Completion of at least two years of study in Economics or in a numerical/quantitative discipline
- Basic understanding of financial theory, its applications and the roles of the key players in financial markets
- Interest and awareness of current trends and recent events in financial markets
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python and/or R) is an advantage
- Flexibility, proactivity and good communication
- Excellent English language written and verbal skills essential, German would be an advantage, as well as any other language
- You must be enrolled at university throughout the duration of the contract
- You must be located in Switzerland and close to Zurich for the whole duration of the contract
