ZGEBS-Regional Distribution Manager 80-100%

As Regional Distribution Manager (RDM) for France and Southern Europe, you will drive the growth of Zurich’s multinational employee benefits solutions — including Global Profit Sharing, Global Underwriting, and Captive Solutions— across your region. You will develop and execute distribution strategies, build lasting relationships with clients, intermediaries and partners, and ensure operational excellence from initial opportunity through account management. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on business development, offering the chance to shape Zurich’s presence in a dynamic and complex market.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement innovative distribution strategies to achieve both regional and global business targets.
  • Lead the end-to-end RfP process for new business opportunities within your territory and area of responsibility.
  • Oversee seamless onboarding and implementation for newly acquired accounts.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients within your portfolio, as well as with employee benefits consultants and local insurance partners in your territory of responsibility, ensuring high customer satisfaction and trust.
  • Accelerate business development by collaborating with local and international insurance network partners.
    Integrate local insurance agreements into global employee benefits solutions by working closely with global partners.
  • Monitor and respond to market trends, adapting strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Present clear and actionable reports to senior customer management, highlighting performance metrics and business growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships and foster collaboration across internal functions (Underwriting, Operations, Finance) to deliver holistic value propositions to customers.
  • Utilize ZGEBS’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to capture market intelligence and maintain high data quality.
  • Represent ZGEBS at conferences and industry events, strengthening our reputation and expanding our market presence.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in customer and distribution management or sales leadership, with at least 5 years spent in employee benefits sales and/or account management, ideally with exposure to global benefits financing (global profit sharing, global underwriting, captive solutions).
  • Insurance or financial services background highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving business growth targets.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to execute operational plans effectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Track record of successful collaboration across regions and business functions.
  • Able to work independently and thrive in a complex, international environment.
  • Fluent in English and French (both spoken and written); Italian and Spanish are advantageous. Preference given to native French speakers.
